Animal Planet Live

Animal Planet L!VE in partnership with Audubon Nature Institute presents four animal cams. The Tarantula Cam, Ant Cam and Cockroach Cam stream straight from Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium. The Parakeet Cam and the Penguin Cam stream directly from Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.

The animal kingdom is amazing so check out the around-the-clock access to the compelling world of insects. Available today at APL.TV.

Tarantula Cam

Little is known about how the creature grew to its massive size, but experts at Audubon Butterfly Garden & Insectarium have identified it as a Brazilian Black Tarantula. See what mayhem it has already caused in this exciting video highlight.

Ant Cam

A childhood ant farm has nothing on this colony of leafcutter ants from Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium in New Orleans. Leafcutter ants are also known as "parasol" ants because of the way they carry leaves above their heads.

Cockroach Cam

These creatures have inhabited our planet since the Cretaceous period and viewers are mesmerized by their activity. This cam streams live from Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium in a setting inspired by the southern home.

Parakeet Cam

It's a bird's life on the Mississippi River for these New Orleans' parakeets at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. Whether singing, snacking or snoozing, these birds are a flurry of activity and hours of fun. Listen for the sounds of the Crescent City.

Penguin Cam

Featuring the best-dressed of Animal Planet L!VE, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas shares their Rockhopper and African penguins, temperate climate birds who prefer warmer water than their cold water cousins.
