Some of the sea turtle rehab pools

The discussion always comes up of what is the price tag to rehabilitate sea turtles and marine mammals, even in a non-oil spill situation. The staff responsible for caring for all the animals at Audubon Aquatic Center thought it would be fun to share some numbers with all of you. These numbers have been generated since the oil spill started on April 20, 2010.

Food for sea turtles - 135 pounds of fish
