Did you know that one out of every four kinds of animals on Earth is a beetle?! That is just one fact that you will learn when you visit the Insectarium on September 3rd for Beetlemania. The staff at the Insectarium is so excited about this event. We have been working diligently to make sure our guests are able to get up close and personal with a bunch of our beetles and hopefully learn new and exciting information.

Some highlights for the day will include: Beetle races at the outside entrance of the facility, a pinned beetle display of "The Beatles" (which is so cute!) in the lobby, face painters and yummy treats in Bug Appétit, the Bug Mobile at Boudreaux's Bait Shop, a special presentation by the Calliope Puppets in the Awards Night Theatre, and I will be at the pinning station where our guests will be able to pin their own beetle and take it home with them.

With over twenty species of beetles to see, it is sure to be an exciting event! So make plans to come to the Insectarium on September 3rd for a lot of fun with the staff and, of course, our BEETLES!
