Bug Sleigh

Jingle Bug, Jingle Bug, Jingle bug Rock! Jingle the day away at Audubon Insectarium for Jingle Bugs this Saturday, December 10th. We’ll have activities for the kids all day and even a visit from Santa Claus and a holiday elf! First thing to do at Jingle Bugs is to enter the trivia contest. You can win a gift certificate to the Insectarium Flea Market gift shop. You’ll want to win this gift certificate because it’s a great stocking stuffer. Next, freshen up on your knowledge of how bugs survive winter. Santa Claus will have story time in Bug Appetit and will be reading a Buggy version of Night Before Christmas at 11:30am and 2:30pm. Do you know who Pupa Noel is?! You can come and see him and his 8 tiny “beetle-deer” who will be pulling him on his sleigh. It’s the most precious thing ever! Of course you know you must visit Bug Appetit for the specialty holiday treats. Take a bite of some crunchy cricket peppermint bark. Sip on some delicious bug nog and then finish your eating adventure with a slice of fruit fly cake. You and the family will have a one of a kind experience eating an array of exotic holiday treats. We’ll have holiday craft making stations for the kids where you can make your very own specialty ornament. We’re also giving a cute plush away to the first 500 guests at the Insectarium. Come early and stay all day this Saturday at Jingle Bugs! Be sure to tell your kids Santa will be there watching who’s naughty and nice!
