Clap, Sing and Get Yah Praise On!

Get up and clap your hands during this Black History Month! We’re going to Get Yah Praise On here at Audubon Zoo so join us on Saturday, February 25th for great gospel performances by local artists. Tara Alexander will start the show with a soul stirring performance. Collage III follows her performance with gospel melodies that will keep you on your feet. The last two performances will leave you in awe! of. Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church has a powerful vocal harmonization that will leave you wanting more. Closing the show is Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr.. His internationally acclaimed gospel performances have been crowd favorites and this one will be one of his best yet! Did you know we named him the official Curator of Gospel Music for Audubon Nature Institute? Make your plans today to join us on Saturday, February 25th. Grab the kids, get grandpa and grandma. It’ll be a fun filled day to enjoy a gospel music show under the magnificent oaks. Once you’ve heard all the gospel artists head out into the zoo and visit the lions, elephants, tigers and gators! They’ll roar, honk, growl and snap with excitement when they see all the visitors. It’s going to be a great day with uplifting song and praise.
