I’ve never blogged before, so please bear with me through this! L’jeanne is off after having baby # 3 and we wish her all the best. So you’ll have to put up with me for a while.  So here goes…

Have you seen The Dark Knight Rises at Entergy IMAX® Theatre?! What a spectacular production that is.  This is the third film of the wildly-popular trilogy that introduces Gotham City’s newest super villains, Bane and Selina Kyle as leading lady. Did you know that director Christopher Nolan was the first filmmaker to use IMAX® cameras in a major motion picture release? He used extremely high-resolution cameras even more extensively for this film and incorporated more than an hour of footage filmed with IMAX® cameras. What’s that mean to me, you’re asking? Well, these scenes fill the ENTIRE five and half story screen at our theatre, so your movie-going experience just got UPGRADED big time. If you thought you were part of the movie before, well just get ready for this one and hold on to your hats.  Now, be sure to get the super large popcorn and drink and because the move is 2 hours and 45 minutes of pure action. And here’s another ‘warning:” The Dark Knight Rises is rated PG-13for intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language. Now that we’ve got the legal mumbo jumbo out of the way, I’ll be looking for you this weekend at Entergy IMAX®Theatre.  Hey, why not buy our Audubon Experiencecombo ticket while you’re here.  It’s the best value and you’ll get a ticket to Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium AND Audubon Zoo to go along with your IMAX®ticket all for one low price.
