Imax® Movie time!
Come now to catch some awesome movies in Imax 3D! The Entergy IMAX®Theater will be getting some renovations in May so now is the time to head over for a great show. I’ll give you some quick info on the movies now playing. “To the Arctic 3D” is an adventure about the survival of a mother polar bear and her twin cubs. You will get to see an up close and personal never before seen journey of the polar bears. Their instinct for survival and how a mother protects and loves her young is prevalent throughout the film. Next up is “The Last Reef: Cities Beneath the Sea.” You will see stunning 3D images of a whole other world under the sea. The sea world is full of coral life that is fragile and beautiful. The movie explores the life of the reefs and offers an uplifting and inspirational message about what people can do to protect our underwater world. Our staple feature film “Hurricane on the Bayou” is always a must see at IMAX®. It tells the story of Hurricane Katrina and the impact that Louisiana’s disappearing wetlands has on hurricane protection. The film offers an immense amount of information on the impact of hurricanes on our wetlands. If you haven’t had a chance to see this one I urge you to go and see it soon. And finally the specialty film that’s now playing is “The Hobbit 3D: An Unexpected Journey.” This is the first installment of the trilogy and it will have you eagerly awaiting the second installment to be released. The imagery of the film will have you feeling as if you are in the movie. This is a journey that will have you on the edge of your seat and you will thoroughly enjoy. Come on get over to the Imax®Theater today! We’ve got renovations set to begin on May 19th, we’ll only be closed for a few weeks but let’s get in a show or two before the renovations! Grab a bag of popcorn and I’ll see you at the movies.
