Party with the Kids at Zoo To Do for Kids!
All I keep hearing these days is … “Are we going? Are we going?!” My kids are super excited about this year’s Zoo To Do for Kids. They’ve had tons of fun at the event and know that it’s almost time for the biggest and best kids event at Audubon Zoo. They enjoy all the great kid friendly foods and enjoy seeing the entertainment but most of all they love, love, love the games and activities they play, and do not let me forget to mention the prizes they win! This year’s event will no doubt have all the fun stuff they had before and more. Wear your frilliest, prettiest, and playful-iest (my made up word *smile) spring attire and join us Friday, April 26th as we celebrate the renewal of Audubon Zoo’s animal encounter area …Discovery Walk! Let me tell you about some of the snacks and sips you will find at the event. We know what kids like - popcorn, cotton candy, potato chips, snowballs, ice cream. Yep we got it! I know it’s sweet and salty treats that get kids wired but hey it’s just one night so let them enjoy it. More items on the menu will include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Thai ribs and roasted corn grits, grilled chicken wraps, veggie cups, mac & cheese, hot dogs… this list goes on and on. I tell ya there is something for everyone. Now let me tell you about the fun and frolic activities we have. You will be able to get up close to some our hand held animals, we’ll also have some insect encounters that will thrill. There will be arts and crafts stations all throughout the event, including bracelet making and crown decorating. But I can tell you that the kids love the games and boy oh boy we have some great ones to play. You can spin the prize wheel with Winn-Dixie, play mini golf, play ski ball, five pen bowl, and then jump in the gigantic inflatables! The big slide, the spider man obstacle course the New Orleans Saints obstacle course are just a few of the big inflatables that we’ll have. And remember the swamp train and carousel rides are free all night long. I know you think I’ve told you everything that is happening at this year’s Zoo To Do for Kids but trust me this isn’t even the half of it! Buy your tickets today and help renew Discovery Walk while having a fun and fabulous time at Zoo To Do for Kids!
