Crawly Crawloween

Get ready for some creepy, crawly fun at Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium.  On Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31st its Crawloween at the Butterfly Garden and Insectarium! Kids 12 and under dressed in costume will receive a $3 discount on admission.  There will be fun Halloween activities and you can trick or treat for bug trinkets, but not candy!  Learn all about roaches and spiders and maggots.  OH MY!! You will even be able to guess the number of maggots in a jar to win a prize.  Now that’s going to be some squishy, crawly fun.  Remember to head to Bug Appétit and try a Halloween bug treat.  Everything in the Bug Appétit is filled with yummy bugs to eat.  Well if you like that sort of thing, and I know you will! Once you’ve eaten your fill of Halloween bug cookies take a visit over to one of our knowledgeable entomologists and learn the truth about those six legged insects and creepy crawlies.  They might not be so creepy once you get to know and love them like we do.  Let’s make it a fun happy Crawloween this year at Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium. , Remember to dress the kids in their coolest costumes!
