We are in full swing of festivals around the city and this weekend is a big one! We’ve got the French Quarter Festival happening right at Woldenberg Riverfront Park in front of Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. And as you know we will be open and happy to have everyone visit! I know you’ll need a retreat to relax for a little while, so head into the Aquarium to watch the penguins jump, slide and dive. They are just the cutest things to watch. Another place where you can sit and watch the swimming fish is at the Gulf of Mexico tank. It’s easy to get captured by all the beauty swimming inside. But don’t stay too long because we’ve got a ton of other exhibits to check out. Our Geaux Fish exhibit has been a hit with families. The games and activities are so engaging. Plus you can touch a stingray! All weekend we will be right there in the middle of it all. We also have a food booth selling some yummmiiiie foods right from our own in-house “Green Caterers”. We are proud to offer the best in eco friendly foods. Being certified as a “Green Caterer” is a prestigious recognition that is only awarded to organizations that have met very strict standards in waste reduction and environmentally-friendly service. You’ve got to come by and visit with us this weekend while you enjoy the fest. You may hear us say… Make today an Audubon Day!
