Right now at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas you can Geaux Fish! If you have not seen it yet you must geaux. The exhibit is located on the second floor of the Aquarium. And yes, the exhibit has the sting ray touch pool. Once inside, you can immerse yourself in all things that are fishy. There is virtual fishing where you hop in a boat and can try throwing a cast. The exhibit highlights the Louisiana fishing industry where you can see all the happenings of a commercial fisherman and even do your own recreational fishing. Kids and families can explore the interactive games and learning stations. Once you’ve explored the exhibit make your way to see Buck and Emma our sea otters. They love to play and also love to relax, catch them in action and you will be in for a treat. Have you been to the Amazon Rain Forest yet? Well if not, you can walk right into the rainforest and climb into our Amazon “tree-top loop,” where you’ll have a birds-eye view of the entire Amazon rainforest. The exhibit also has an abundance of exotic species of fish that are extremely appealing. These fish have bite so watch out! Don’t worry they are all happy just swimming along. Before you exit it’s important to visit one last place in the Aquarium. The gift shop! There are always new cute gifts and keepsakes available for purchase you can even check us out online.
