There's Still A Lot Of Summer Left NOLA

I know school starts around in area in about 3 weeks, and school supplies, uniforms and back to school sales are happening all over town. But there is still a lot of summer left at the Audubon Zoo and let's be honest it won't get cool around here until mid-October if we are lucky.

Not only are all the Audubon Attractions open on Monday's until Labor Day, September 1, 2014. But who can forget the number 1 place to cool down in New Orleans right at our own Audubon Zoo?

For just $8 for non members and $6 for members you can spend the day playing and splashing in the water of Cool Zoo. But watch out for the the giant white alligator that dumps water on your head. There are some water slides, soakers, and even a special area for toddlers! And in 2015 Cool Zoo is supposed to get a new addition, a lazy river called Gator Run, I personally can not wait for this!

You can also purchase  a POP (Pay One Price) wristband unlimited admission into Cool Zoo and the Dinosaurs and unlimited train and carousel rides for $12 /non members and $9 / members. Tht is is probably the best entertainment package in town especially if you have a zoo membership!

My kids LOVE cool zoo, it's a great way to visit the zoo and beat the heat at a time of year we normally wouldn't think about visiting!
