The contest will be held on October 17, 23 and 24, 2015.

  • Put together a creative, spooky, funny or imaginative costume and wear it on your body.

  • All costumes are welcomed. Costumes may be homemade or purchased. However, keep your costume “G” rated as this is a family event.

  • You must be between 0 - 100 years old and not dead. If you appear to be dead, but can walk, that is okay.
  • Strollers/wagons must allow for the transportation of at least one child.
  • Each contest is limited to 8 groups of guests and 8 strollers/wagons.
  • The first 8 in each category that sign up at Main Stage between 5:00pm and 7:15pm will be entered in the contest.
  • Groups must consist of a combination of adults and children.
  • Groups must be a minimum of 3.

Best Group Costume; Best Stroller/Wagon. All elements of the costumes must be wearable or carried and wagons/strollers must be pre-decorated at time of contest. (Guests cannot enter both categories)
After confirmation of entry is received, all groups and those with strollers/wagons must report to Main Stage by 7:15pm or forfeit entry.
All entrants will be required to sign a photo release and there is no additional fee to enter once in the event.
An impartial panel of mostly alive judges will determine the winners, announce that night and award prizes. Each night the winners of each category will receive an Audubon Nature Institute Family Membership.

  • How do I get tickets?
You can purchase your tickets online at, you may choose the “print at home” option in which your tickets will be e-mailed to you and you may print them from any computer or you can choose to have your tickets placed at Will Call. No tickets will be mailed. Please double check the night for which you are purchasing.
