This position will evaluate all accident victims and individuals complaining of ailments or illness, providing emergency first aid or providing basic life support until patient can be turned over to a higher level life support personnel as needed. Patients include all guests, employees, volunteers, and contractors on Audubon Nature Institute facilities.  First Responder EMTs are actively involved in the implementation/ documentation and training necessary to maintain staff levels and overall efficiency and accuracy of patient care and record keeping. The First Responder EMT is the primary responder when on duty for all First Responder EMT/first aid calls, proper documentation of those calls, and restocking equipment.  The position is part time and requires weekday, weekend and holiday availability. The weekend requirement is a minimum of one weekend day per month.
