Children's Zoo Intern
Audubon Zoo is seeking intern applicants interested in the Children's Zoo for the spring and summer of 2013. Internships are unpaid, last at least 12 weeks, and require at least 24 hours a week. Interns typically work 32-40 hours a week. The Children's Zoo offers a great opportunity for hands on, entry level experience with a varied collection that includes reptiles, amphibians, birds, small mammals and domestic hoof stock. Interns work with keeper staff to learn animal care, natural history, exhibit maintenance, public presentations, and animal handling. In addition to the above time commitments, interested applicants must also have current proof of a negative TB test. Interns work outside and in all weather conditions.
Interested applicants should send a resume and a cover letter to: firstname.lastname@example.org
