Audubon offers exciting scouting programs that celebrate the wonders of nature:
Girl and Boy Scout units and their leaders, parents and siblings are invited to join in the fun and camp out at Audubon Zoo for only $35 a person. Troops have the option of earning a badge during their overnight!
Fall dates are available now!
To reserve your date will require a minimum registration of 10 people as a deposit. You must register on-line. Full payment and total participant numbers are required no less than two weeks before the registered date. ACTUAL minimum number of registrants is 30 people.
- All scouts must bring their own camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, etc.) and provide dinner for their troop.
- The minimum number of people is 30.
- The maximum number of people is 70.
- All participants must be five years of age or older.
Sample Overnight Itinerary:
|6:00 pm||Troop arrives and set-up their "camp" in the education yard|
|7:00 pm||Evening activities begin including animal adventures, biofact times, campfire with s’mores and a night hike through the Zoo.|
|10:00 pm||Lights out|
|7:00 am||Continental breakfast|
|8:00 am||Morning hike through the Zoo|
|9:00 am||Scouts depart from the Zoo|

Come and join us for a fun filled day at Audubon Zoo and earn two special Audubon Zoo Badges, Save the Rainforest Badge and the Wetland Warrior Badge. You will enjoy classroom activities, animal encounters, guided tours of the zoo and more! At the end of the day you will take home the tools to teach others how to save these invaluable resources!

Daisy Day at Audubon Zoo will be an exciting adventure as we observe wildlife at the Zoo and work on the Daisy Journey. Included in the workshop is admission to the Zoo on the day of the event, the badge program (4), a live animal demonstration and snacks. (One adult chaperone for every six scouts is required)
