- Visit the “passport stations”, have your passport stamped and turn it in at the front gate for prizes. The stations are: Whooping Crane, Discovery Walk (gopher tortoise), Reptile house (Louisiana pine snake), and the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit (Black Bear).
- Take part in the Endangered Species scavenger hunt.
- On May 21 the Louisiana black bear mascot (a human in costume) will be present for photographs.
- Naturalist Chats will focus on Endangered Species and conservation issues.
- Shell Theater presentations will offer programs on endangered species.
- Discovery Walk will feature endangered species.

On Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 the Zoo education department in partnership with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will offer special activities and presentations for National Endangered Species Day.
- Visit the “passport stations”, have your passport stamped and turn it in at the front gate for prizes. The stations are: Whooping Crane, Discovery Walk (gopher tortoise), Reptile house (Louisiana pine snake), and the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit (Black Bear).
- Take part in the Endangered Species scavenger hunt.
- On May 21 the Louisiana black bear mascot (a human in costume) will be present for photographs.
- Naturalist Chats will focus on Endangered Species and conservation issues.
- Shell Theater presentations will offer programs on endangered species.
- Discovery Walk will feature endangered species.

On Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 the Zoo education department in partnership with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will offer special activities and presentations for National Endangered Species Day.
- Visit the “passport stations”, have your passport stamped and turn it in at the front gate for prizes. The stations are: Whooping Crane, Discovery Walk (gopher tortoise), Reptile house (Louisiana pine snake), and the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit (Black Bear).
- Take part in the Endangered Species scavenger hunt.
- On May 21 the Louisiana black bear mascot (a human in costume) will be present for photographs.
- Naturalist Chats will focus on Endangered Species and conservation issues.
- Shell Theater presentations will offer programs on endangered species.
- Discovery Walk will feature endangered species.
