Attention Cub Scout
and Girl Scout Leaders
Interested in camping out in the Zoo? Sign-up for one of our Scout Overnight Programs!
Girl and Boy Scout units and their leaders, parents and siblings are invited to join in the fun and camp out at the Zoo for only $35 a person. The minimum number of people is 30 and the maximum number of people is 70. All participants must be at 5 years of age or older. Troops have the option of earning a badge during their overnight!
Sample Overnight Itinerary*:
| 6:00 pm | Troop arrives and set-up their "camp" in the education yard |
| 7:00 pm | Evening activities begin including animal adventures, biofact times, campfire with s’mores and a night hike through the Zoo. |
| 10:00 pm | Lights out |
| 7:00 am | Continental breakfast |
| 8:00 am | Morning hike through the Zoo |
| 9:00 am | Scouts depart from the Zoo |
* All scouts must bring their own camping equipment and provide dinner for their troop.
