Audubon Aquarium wants to see your FIns and Grins

 

Share a “double decade” of fun Aquarium images in the Fins and Grins photo contest July 1- through July 31, 2010.  

 

Submitted photos can be of visits to Audubon Aquarium’s most popular animals and exhibits, or even pictures of visitors making silly fish faces. Imagination definitely counts - the sky is the limit! Photos will be judged on creativity, originality, artistic quality, visual clarity and relevance.

 

The contest is open to photographers of all ages, but submissions must be made by someone 18 years of age or older.

 

Winners will be announced on September 6, 2010, during Audubon Aquarium’s 20^th Birthday Bash. The grand-prize will be a “Take Over the Aquarium Experience” along with a multi-year Audubon Nature Institute membership. The winning photo will be featured on the Aquarium landing page on Audubon Nature Institute’s website. Four other winners will be selected in different categories with prizes including guest passes, mentions on Audubon’s website, and a fabulous prize pack from the Audubon Marketplace and partners.

 

Fans will vote for their favorite photos all through the month of July. The top 20 photos will have a special vote August 6 through August 13 to pick the overall fan favorite! Potential categories are Best People Photo, Best Animal Photo, Best Memory Photo, Most Creative, etc.
