“We wanted to roll out the welcome mat for dads on Father’s Day at Audubon Insectarium,” said Insectarium managing director Karyn Kearney. “It’s a perfect fit – something fun and unique for the whole family to do together to honor Dad.”
Audubon Insectarium is located at 423 Canal Street in downtown New Orleans in the U.S. Customs House. It’s an exciting and engaging museum dedicated to the planet’s largest biomass – insects! Through colorful graphics, multi-media exhibitry and lots of live animals, visitors learn to appreciate the fascinating ways insects influence our lives.
Do you know what a million termites look like? Do you want to walk among hundreds of free-flying and beautiful butterflies? Do you dare to eat a bug? Thousands of guests have all had these incredible experiences since the Insectarium opened in 2008.
