NEW ORLEANS - Through July and August, Audubon Zoo (6500 Magazine St.) is open 10am to 7pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Beginning September 6, the Zoo will be open 10am to 4pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 10am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Audubon Aquarium of the Americas (1 Canal St.), Entergy IMAX® Theatre (1 Canal St.) and Audubon Insectarium (423 Canal St.) are open 10am to 5pm, Tuesday through Sunday. All attractions are closed on Mondays.
Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Insectarium and Entergy IMAX® Theatre are all closed on Mondays. However, all attractions are open on July 4 for the Independence Day holiday and on September 5 for Labor Day.
Audubon Golf Course is open seven days a week. To make a tee time, please call (504) 212-5290 or visit www.AudubonInstitute.org.

From 4:30 – 7pm Tuesday through Sunday, pay one price and enjoy evenings at Audubon Zoo through Labor Day.
Visit Audubon Zoo’s newest and most exciting attraction, Cool Zoo, along with many of the features that make Audubon Zoo so much fun, including Discovery Walk, Endangered Species Carousel, Audubon’s Dinosaur Adventure, elephant exhibit, Earth Lab and Shell Wildlife Theatre!

Audubon Aquarium has gone to the birds! Parakeet Pointe delights Aquarium visitors with an engaging and colorful collection of free-flight parakeets. Be sure to catch this new exhibit and feed the parakeets yourself on the 2nd floor of Audubon Aquarium. Parakeet Pointe is included in regular Aquarium admission. Feed sticks are available for $1 each.

Celebrate a fantastic July 4th tradition in New Orleans with fireworks at nightfall on the Mississippi River. Visitors enjoy a weekend long (July 1-4) discount of $4 off any admission to Audubon Aquarium or Audubon Insectarium. This deal is not to be combined with other discounts or combos.

Audubon members spend an evening at the Aquarium with live music, aquarist chats, feedings, stage shows and kids activities. This members-only event is a chance for members to feed stingrays, see a dive show, meet the Aquarium team and be amazed by undersea wonders. This event is FREE for Audubon Members. Not a member? Beetle races, story-tellers and the role of the beetle in Egyptian mythology are all featured, including some John, Paul, George and Ringo beetle lookalikes. Have you ever sampled some real “Beetle juice?” It accompanies some chocolate chirp cookies, of course!

Sample wine and beer from more than 20 bars while enjoying the sights and sounds of Audubon Aquarium at night. Audubon Zoo’s 27th Annual Louisiana Swamp Fest at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is November 5 and 6, 2011…just around the corner! Celebrate Louisiana’s heritage at this family-style festival that draws thousands of people each year with Cajun cuisine, Cajun and Zydeco music, cultural demonstrators and one-of-a-kind crafts – all against the unique backdrop of Audubon Zoo.
