Windsor Court and Audubon Nature Institute Partner for Butterfly Tea
The popular event results in another collaboration between hotel and Insectarium

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Due to the astounding success of the partnership between Windsor Court Hotel and Audubon Insectarium, Le Salon will offer three Butterfly Tea seatings a day on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25. This unique partnership between two New Orleans attractions will create an unforgettable experience for all who attend.
Le Salon’s tea services will have special visitors from Audubon Insectarium, including live butterflies on every table and beautiful displays to discuss with guests. Le Salon will serve tea sandwiches, cookies and other sweets in the shape of butterflies, and guests will remember the special day with a complimentary Butterfly Picture memento.
Three seatings of traditional Windsor Court Tea will be served at 11 am, 2 pm and 4:30 pm, and will include tea sandwiches, scones and cream, assorted sweets and unlimited tea. The children’s menu, designed for children 5 years of age and younger, will also be available. It includes peanut butter and raspberry preserve sandwiches, scones, a chocolate dipped strawberry and a surprise from the chef.
“Audubon Nature Institute is an integral part of children’s lives in the city, and we are extremely honored to be neighbors and partners with the Insectarium,” says David Teich, General Manager of the Windsor Court. “The Butterfly Tea is truly a magical event, and we look forward to sharing the experience with more guests.”
Guests can choose from a Classic Tea service for $30++ or a Royal Tea service for $38++, which includes smoked salmon and caviar canapés and a glass of sherry, house sparkling wine or chardonnay. The children’s tea, for children 5 years of age and younger, is $19++. Prices do not include tax or gratuity.
