Kids Get in FREE on Tuesdays this Summer at Audubon Insectarium

(New Orleans, La.)– It’s been voted a “top museum for you and your kids.” And now, your kids have a chance to visit free!

Audubon Insectarium on Canal Street in New Orleans announces free admission for children every Tuesday, July 12 – August 9.  Each Tuesday through August 9, 2011, two children can visit free of charge with one paying adult. It’s North Americas largest museum devoted to butterflies, insects and their relatives, and on Tuesdays this summer, kids can visit Audubon Insectarium for free.

Thousands of guests have been delighted by the Insectarium since it opened in 2008. Voted "A top museum for you and your kids” by CNN.com (2009), Audubon Insectarium houses New Orleans’ only butterfly garden, a serene, Asian-inspired garden home to hundreds of colorful, free-flying butterflies.

Visitors can even expand their gastronomic horizons by eating Cajun-spiced crickets in Bug Appétit and take in the Insect Awards Show in the immersion theater, a 4-D movie that honors the incredible feats and roles that insects play in our natural world.

Offer applies to child's individual admission ticket with paid adult admission or paid member admission.  Not valid on group reservations.  Not valid with any other coupons or offers. Maximum 2 children per each paid adult.  Offer valid on July 12, July 19, July 26 and August 2 and 9 ONLY.
