Celebration for the New Entergy IMAX® Theatre Screenings of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, an IMAX 3D Experience

(New Orleans, La.)– Unleash your inner pirate with Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and Entergy IMAX® Theatre in downtown New Orleans! On Friday, July 8, 2011, from 10:30am – 1:30pm, Audubon Aquarium offers visitors a chance to have some pirate fun, including music, engaging art activities and pictures with a real parrot. It’s all  to highlight a limited-run showing of Disney’s fourth installment of the action fantasy franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Entergy IMAX Theatre, right next to the Aquarium.

Activities include:

• Pirate hat and eye patch craft project
• Pirate Magician/balloon artist
• Pirate face painting
• Musical appearance by Pirate Papillion from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm
• Photos with a live Parrot from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Party activities are all included in the price of admission.
Audubon Aquarium of the Americas
Tickets to Audubon Aquarium of the Americas are $19.95 for adults. $12.95 for children and $15.95 for seniors.  Admission is always free for Audubon Nature Institute members.
