(New Orleans, La.) – Make plans now to be at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas on Friday, September 12, 2014 for Scales & Ales to benefit the Aquarium’s education programs and conservation efforts. The fifth annual event is the signature fundraiser for Audubon Aquarium, a once-a-year opportunity to support the education and conservation initiatives of Audubon while guests experience the exceptional sights and sounds of Aquarium after dark.

Partygoers will enjoy Abita Beer tastings, wine, specialty cocktails, and delicious cuisine from more than 35 local restaurants.  Live entertainment includes The Atlanta Showstoppers. Scales & Ales supports Audubon’s education and conservation program, including our efforts in rescuing, rehabilitating and successfully releasing stranded and injured sea turtles and marine mammals.

Scales & Ales is an adult-only event on Friday, September 12 from 8pm-11pm with a Patron Party that begins at 7pm. Tickets start at $45. Patron tickets are $100 per person.  Sponsor packages start at $500. All food and drinks are included in ticket price.  Please call (504) 861-5107 for more information.
