New Orleans Kids Activities | Audubon Nature Institute
If you’re looking for a place that can provide an exciting, memorable and educational array of New Orleans kids activities, turn to Audubon Nature Institute. Children learn best when they’re having fun, and at Audubon we know how to put the fun in learning at our Zoo, Butterfly Garden and Insectarium or Aquarium.
During the summer and holidays we offer camps and kid programs to keep your kids busy. Camp activities include walks through the Zoo, up close animal encounters, science activities and crafts. To help the kids keep cool during the hotter months water play days are always popular at Monkey Hill and our splash park, Cool Zoo.
Are you and your children involved in Cub Scouts or Girl Scouts? We have overnight programs for troops! Pitch your tents on our education campus and enjoy a special evening tour through the Zoo and a night around the campfire. Roast marshmallows while learning about the environment and, in the morning, enjoy a delicious Zoo breakfast.
Watch our calendar for kid-friendly events such as Chocolate Covered Insect Day, Zoo-To-Do for Kids and annual festivals. If you are looking for a special way to celebrate your child’s birthday, we can help make it a day they will never forget. Kids always enjoy the Endangered Species Carousel birthday party which comes complete with a private party room and carousel or swamp train rides. During the summer we also have Cool Zoo, a wild and wet splash park where parents and children can cool off and enjoy a good time. You’ll find everything you need for New Orleans kids activities at Audubon.
If you have questions or need help planning an exciting day for your child, we’ll be glad to assist. Give us a call and we’ll make your reservations and help you plan the entire event from beginning to end.
New Orleans kids activities at Audubon Nature Institute offer an exciting source of fun and learning for children and their parents.
