Chriss Knight brings a decade of tv reporting experience and a life time love of animals to The Real Wild Animals of New Orleans. Chriss has lived in cities all around the country before calling New Orleans home.

From reporting live during blizzards in the Midwest, to showcasing the fun and quirky characters and events that make up New Orleans, Chriss’ feature and breaking news coverage earned her awards from the Nebraska Broadcaster’s Association, Nebraska Associated Press and the New Orleans Press Club. In fact, some of Chriss’ favorite stories were with the Audubon Nature Institute, including getting doused by hundreds of gallons of water on live television from Cool Zoo at the Audubon Zoo and feeding hungry alligators live from inside the swamp exhibit.
