The Louisiana Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Rescue Program (LMMSTRP) responds quickly when Gulf sea turtles, dolphins and manatees are stranded or injured. Your gift will aid their rescue, rehabilitation and eventual return to the wild.
LMMSTRP is the only organization authorized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to rescue marine animals in Louisiana. In 2010 the program mounted a successful recovery operation for wildlife affected by the largest offshore oil spill in history.
