Audubon Tennis Courts

Audubon Park tennis courts are a clay court facility with 10 courts, affording public play seven days a week beginning at 8:00 AM. Dependent on the season, we are open until 7:30 PM on Monday and Thursday.

Our one hour court cost is $10.00. Savings books for court rentals offer 10 hours of play for $80 and book-holders are entitled to reserve courts by phone: (504) 895-1042. Otherwise, courts must be reserved in person.

Private lessons, group lessons and clinics are available for juniors and adults. We are staffed by four professionals, all USTPR/USTPA certified, and the facility is under the direction of Chris Barbe, Head Pro. A ball machine is also available at the cost of $20.00 per hour and we offer racquet-stringing and tennis accessories.

Audubon Park Stables

Saddle up at Cascade Stables in Audubon Park for a two-mile, 45-minute guided trail ride around the circumference of the park. Cascade's well-tended horses suit all skill levels, even children as young as seven. Rides cost $20 per person, and appointments are preferred. The stables are open from 9 am to 4 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Call (504) 891-2246 for more information.
