Asian Domain

Asian Domain

The biggest stars at Audubon Zoo are two female Asian elephants, Panya and Jean. Housed in the Whitney Asian Domain, these large ladies captivate visitors with interactive elephant presentations and swims in their elephant-sized pool. Other exotic residents include our white tiger and the critically endangered Amur leopards.

Improvements are on the way to our Asian Domain!
In the meantime, access to this area of the Zoo is limited and some animals may be off exhibit while we work to bring exciting changes to this popular area. Check our website and follow us on Twitter for updates.

Meet Audubon's newest baby, Fig the babirusa piglet, born January 24th, 2013. Fig can be found in the Asian Domain exhibit.
