Students will learn teamwork and public speaking while participating in hands-on learning activities through public programming. The Junior Entomologist program requires a commitment of 200 hours over the months of June and July. These hours are earned by attending three days a week from 9:00am -3:30pm each of the three days. Shift availability will be determined based on departmental needs occurring Monday - Friday.
Requests for applications begin November 1, 2013. and must be received no later than April 1, 2014. Interviews for applicants with completed applications will take place in April. If accepted into the program, volunteers are required to attend a half day orientation in May followed by a one week training course the first week of June.
