ECCO Leadership Program

The ECCO After School program provides youth entering 8th-11th grades with a year long opportunity to experience the Audubon Zoo; focusing on leadership, animal husbandry and conservation, as well as local and global environmental issues. They also have time for conducting school-based work with access to all Zoo Education resources during ECCO hours. Participants attend two interactive workshops per week after school.  There are two possible groups they can join:

Group 1: Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Group 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.  

NO TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED. 

The 2011-2012 ECCO Leadership Program begins in September of 2011.
