Horticulture Volunteers

Do you have a green thumb?  Are you a master gardener without a garden?  Audubon is looking for volunteers to help our horticulture staff keep Audubon Park and Audubon Zoo lush and beautiful.

Volunteer duties include watering, weeding, mulching, planting, and starting plants from seeds or cuttings.

You only need to attend the Volunteer Orientation to get started!  There is a one time fee of $35 for the cost of your uniform and volunteer handbook.  Volunteers are needed Monday – Friday from 8:00am until 3:00pm.

The next Volunteer Orientation will be held on
Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9am - 12noon.

Apply today to become a Horticulture Volunteer or contact the Volunteer Coordinator by email or at (504) 212-5194 with questions.
