Bushmaster Exhibit Activity

Bushmaster Exhibit Activity

Visit the Bushmaster exhibit and you'll see more than just a snake. This mixed display features two species of poison dart frogs, an anole lizard and of course, the Bushmaster which hails as the largest Pit Viper in the world.

During the exhibit activity a keeper will feed the frogs and anole from behind the scenes and then come out to answer questions. Why doesn't the snake eat the frogs in the exhibit? Bushmasters don't eat reptiles or amphibians so the frogs and the lizard are safe from harm. Education is key to understanding both the beauty and the danger of these animals. Visit this exhibit for an up-close (and safe) encounter!
