Soul Fest

Soul Fest

Music, food and fun will be served in great supply at the eleventh annual Soul Fest March 7 & 8, 2015!

Over 20,000 visitors are set to converge upon the Audubon Zoo for one of New Orleans’ biggest celebrations of African American history. The two day family-oriented event will feature live musical performances by local Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, and Gospel artists at our Capital One Stage!

Visitors can purchase authentic soul food prepared by local restaurants and caterers, and also enjoy the Zoo's collection of exotic animals! Kids can visit craft tables from Brazil, China, Haiti, Jamaica and Africa at the Children's Global Playground, and create their very own Soul Fest souvenir. Festival goers can also visit with local health, education and social service organizations and receive valuable wellness and lifestyle information.  Soul Fest is free with Zoo admission. Soul Fest is presented by AARP and sponsored in part by Marathon Petroleum Company, The Bardell Company and metroPCS.  NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES PLEASE.
