Audubon Nature Institute is a 501(c)3 not for profit that operates a family of museums and parks dedicated to nature. These New Orleans facilities include: Audubon Park, Audubon Zoo, Wolden- berg Riverfront Park, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, Entergy IMAX® Theatre, Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species, Audubon Wilderness Park, Audubon Insectarium and Audubon Nature Institute Foundation.
Cool Zoo is currently closed Monday - Friday, and open Saturdays & Sundays through September 28th when it closes for the season.
Cool Zoo, a wild and wet splash park, is one of the top water parks New Orleans has to offer. It is the hot spot for kids to cool down at Audubon Zoo. Highlights include jumping water spouts, a huge alligator water slide, a spider monkey soaker, water-spitting snakes and more. There is also shaded seating, family restrooms, a Snack N' Splash concession stand and The Cool Shop carrying a variety of summertime necessities.

Cabanas are available to rent weekdays from 10am to 5pm for $75.00 each. Price quoted is per Cabana and does not include Cool Zoo admission. Please see Snack-N’-Splash Stand Supervisor upon arrival for rental.

The Audubon Experience package includes one visit to each facility. Audubon Experience packages are valid for 30 consecutive days starting with your first visit. The IMAX® ticket is valid for one movie on first-come, first-served availability. Tickets may be purchased in advance and used the day of your visit. Our attractions are open Tuesday through Sunday.
